Chief of the Defence Force, Air Marshal Mark Binskin, has issued an advice to Defence Force family members regarding the implications of raising the National Terrorism Public Alert Level
On 12 September 2014, based on advice from the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, the Prime Minister raised the National Terrorism Public Alert Level to HIGH.
As a precaution, and consistient with this change, Defence has decided to raise the Alert Level at all of our bases and establishments.
